The CARE Center uses its funds to change lives. All services are child oriented and child focused and designed to maximize the case outcome while minimizing trauma to children and families.

(The CARE Center is organized as a 501(c)(3) organization and all contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The legal name of the CARE Center is CARE Center – Child Abuse Response and Evaluation Center, Inc.)

*CAMA, Child Abuse Multidisciplinary Account, was established in 2000 by H.B. 2007 to provide baseline funding for child advocacy centers and multidisciplinary teams. These funds, collected through civil filing fees, provide a stable source of revenue for centers such as the CARE Center, which is a public-private partnership. There are currently 14 centers in the state and 44 multidisciplinary teams.
