It is with great pleasure that we bring to you the 2007 Annual Report. There have been many positive changes at the CARE Center as we continue to grow. In February of this year, the Board asked me to take over as Executive Director, and I accepted. Since then, we have been busy stream lining our processes and adding additional staff. There are also many plans for more agencies to join our campus.

Fundraising is always important, so it brings me pleasure to report to all of you that our annual fundraiser, The Celebrity Waiters’ Gala, was a great success. Also, as you can see by looking at the financial report, our investment being handled by James Fellers of Smith Barney is doing extremely well. We continue to apply for grants and ask for private funding.

Te’Ata Purcell joined our staff in May in the capacity of Child/Family Advocate. We have plans to augment the staff further.
