Are you a Child looking for Help?

Has someone hurt or abused you? If so, we can help you.

It is not your fault.

It is okay to tell a trusted adult.

No matter what anyone says or does, unsafe touches--like those on private parts of the body covered by a bathing suit--are not okay and must never be kept a secret.

Who to Call for Help

Child Abuse Hotline 1-800-522-3511 (Free Call)

Contact-A-Friend 405-848-8873

Keep telling until someone helps you.

If you tell someone and the abuse continues, tell someone else.

It is better to tell an adult instead of a friend because an adult knows how to help and the friend may not.

If you feel mixed-up about whether you or someone you know are being abused, tell them to trust their inner voice--their feelings. Together, talk it over with a trusted adult who believes and will help you or your friend.

Who can you tell? A trusted adult, such as a parent, step-parent, grandparent, school counselor, teacher, principal, police officer, minister, doctor, other adults in your family, baby-sitter, a neighbor or a friend's parent.
