Q: Has your child told you he or she has been molested by someone down the street?
A: Call the police, stay calm and be supportive of your child

Q: Has your child told you he/she has been molested by a family member?
A: Make a report to the child abuse hotline

Q: What if your child made an outcry of abuse at school instead of to you, and you were not notified before investigators interviewed your child at school?
A: Remain calm and call the school to find out how you could help with the investigation.
